The previous sky maps have been oriented in the usual way: with
due north up. But often in real life you won't
know which direction is north. The sky you observe doesn't have
the directions already clearly marked. The below sky map has been
twisted around, but you should still be able to find the
direction north by finding the star Polaris which is near the north
celestial pole.
